How to delete your DaoLang account

DaoLang is an app for learning Chinese words by ⟨developer's name⟩. You can delete your account and all data tied to it in the app itself or by email.

In the app

1. Open the "Me" tab and tap the settings button at the top of the screen: this opens "Settings".
2. At the bottom, tap "Delete account and progress".
3. Confirm twice: "DELETE", then "DELETE FOR GOOD". If you signed in with Apple, Apple will ask you to confirm your sign-in once more.

Deletion runs on the server and takes up to a minute. You need an internet connection.

If you learned without an account, the button reads "Erase progress on this phone" and deletes the guest data the same way.

Without the app

Email help@mozaika.app with the subject "Delete account", from the address your account uses. If you signed in with Google or Apple, say which. We will delete the account within ⟨30⟩ days and reply when it is done.

What is deleted

• The account: email, name, sign-in method.
• All progress: words and answers, lessons and units, day streak, goal, gems and freezes.
• Settings, mascot, league table rows, questions to the AI helper and their replies.

What stays

• Reports about tasks that you sent: they are how the course gets fixed. After deletion they are no longer linked to your account.
• Crash reports: they hold none of your personal data and are deleted automatically after 90 days.
